Description | The course consists of both clinical refresher training and simulated clinical scenarios. The day is tailored where possible to the needs / speciality of the trainees attending. The course concentrates on team working and allows trainees the opportunity to build confidence in delivering time critical handovers, complex referrals and making challenging decisions whilst in a supportive environment. |

Aims | The aim of the course is to support trainees back to the clinic environment in a supportive and structured manner. The course concentrates on team working and allows trainees the opportunity to build their confidence in delivering time critical handovers, complex referrals and making challenging decisions whilst in a supportive environment. The course will give the learners the opportunity to practice clinical skills including a forum for learners to discuss the concerns common to all who are returning to work. |
Objectives | The course objectives are to provide hands on experience for trainees to refresh their clinical skills, whilst the simulated scenarios are targeted and designed depending on the speciality of the trainees attending the session. |
Learning outcomes | Through attendance at this course, it is anticipated that trainees will return to practice well prepared to take care of their patients. |
