DescriptionThe School of Medicine is hosting an online induction event to welcome all of its new International Medical Graduates. A specialty-specific event will take place in the morning, with trainees joining the regional induction for International Medical Graduates from all specialties in the afternoon. The afternoon session will be facilitated by two of our current postgraduate doctors in training, who are undertaking a Leadership Fellowship. You will hear from a range of speakers, including fellow IMGs and representatives of the General Medical Council (GMC). Booking onto this course will ensure you receive the joining instructions for the afternoon session, and be eligible for an attendance certificate to add to your ePortfolio.

The agenda of the day is as follows:

  • 9.00am - 12.30pm: School of Medicine IMG Induction Event

A break for lunch will occur between 12.30pm and 1.00pm, after which IMGs will join the Yorkshire and Humber induction event for all International Medical Graduates across the region. The agenda for which is as follows:

  • 2.00pm - 3.00pm: Networking Breakout Rooms
