This workshop is an opportunity to share knowledge, build relationships, and support each other in making a positive impact.

What will be covered?

Learning outcomes

· Describe the similarities and differences between coaching and mentoring, and determine which approach is best suited for a given situation

· Develop enhanced skills, including active listening, supportive and challenging questioning, and techniques that facilitate effective communication and problem-solving

· Build rapport with mentees, respectfully challenge assumptions and limiting beliefs, and enable them to see the bigger picture and generate more options

· Reflect on strategies to support the integration of international medical graduates into the NHS, drawing on their own experience and insights
