Become better equipped to manage challenging situations and conflict at work.

Objectives

Aims of the workshop:

• Understand the value of effective communication the importance of civility, self-compassion and compassion for colleagues and patients.

• Recognise potential barriers to effective communication

• Through a better understanding of oneself improve your skills to communicate well at work when everyone is feeling the pressure

• Explore communication frameworks and different approaches and strategies to a range of communication challenges

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session we expect participants to have significantly increased their confidence and ability to communicate effectively with greater clarity and compassion.
