Description | Mindfulness is an evidence based intervention which has been shown to help in the management of stress and enhance well-being. This session is aimed at trainees, trainers, NHS and HEE YH staff. SuppoRTT trainees will be given first preference but others are welcome. The session is facilitated by Dr Sanjay Suri, Consultant Paediatrician alternating with Dr Shubhada Suri, GP, who are both mindfulness teachers and have qualified from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University in Wales. | ||
Additional information | This course has been designed for supported return to training trainees only who are due to return or have recently returned to Training. Please DO NOT book if you do not meet this criteria.

The session is offered to raise awareness of mindfulness and discuss its application at work and in life. There will be an interactive approach with the use of scenarios. The learning will be experiential with short meditative practices. There will be signposting to useful resources.
