FOR PSYCHIATRISTS ONLY

This course is appropriate for psychiatry-specific Consultant Clinical and Educational Supervisors (prospective, new or established supervisors) and non-consultant grade doctors or non-medical clinical supervisors.

This is a blended programme so you will need to have done the HEE online e-learning Educational Supervisors Training to receive a certificate of completion. This session is designed to complement the HEE e-learning package and the face-to-face Managing Trainees experiencing difficulties session.

• WPBAs
• ARCP

• ensure safe & effective patient care through training

• teaching & facilitating learning
• enhancing learning through assessment
• support & monitor educational process
• guide personal & professional development
• CPD as an educator

• Be able to fulfil processes, roles and responsibilities of being a clinical and/or educational supervisor in psychiatry in practice, day-to-day
• Be able to identify your sources of support in this role
