DescriptionThis two-day online blended course supports postgraduate doctors in training to develop knowledge, skills and confidence in medical education. In interactive workshops and collaborative activities, participants explore educational theory and practice, preparing them to teach effectively and inclusively.

Booking courses

*Multiday courses*

This is a multiday course. The attendance requirements for multiday courses are:

You must secure rota coordinator agreement for the time off for all course days before booking and follow the study leave process

Attendance at all sessions is required in order to complete the course and be awarded a participation certificate

If your availability changes before the course and you know that you will be unable to attend one or more sessions, you must cancel your place as soon as possible

If you are absent from day 1 of the course, you will be withdrawn from the remainder of the course

Booking cancellation

Aims

The development of knowledge, skills and confidence in teaching and training in medicine.

Objectives

* Introduce core principles of adult learning and medical education theory. * Provide practical tools for planning, delivering, and evaluating teaching in clinical and small group settings. * Develop participants’ skills in supervision, feedback, and supporting learners in difficulty.

Learning outcomes
