SubjectRestorative dentistry
DescriptionThis webinar session is designed to help the dental team improve posterior composites with a focus on making better proximal contacts, dealing with the subgingival margin, getting the occlusion correct and minimising the need for aerosols. Professor Brian Millar aims to help the dental team in practicing clinical dentistry in a new environment where aerosols are to be avoided and the risk of coronavirus transmission minimised by practicing non-cutting, more adhesive dentistry techniques, getting the occlusion right without the need to adjust and polish, under rubber dam. If you have any particular questions you would like to be addressed please email them to samantha.braddock@hee.nhs.uk

Aims

Objectives

By the end of the session:

  1. Delegates should know how to deal with subgingival margins
  2. Delegates should know techniques to improve the proximal contact areas
  3. Delegates should be aware of methods of quickly getting the occlusion correct and minimising the need for aerosols
Learning outcomes

On completion delegates will be able to:

Be able to correct subgingival margins

Be able to manage the difficult proximal contact areas

De able to obtain the correct occlusion quickly and predictably
