Aims | To give FDs the confidence to claim for their NHS treatment provision accurately and with integrity and honesty. |
Learning outcomes | By the end of the session the learners should be able to: - Describe the methods by which NHS dentists are monitored in the UK - Define the term 'outlier' and what that means for the NHS BSA - Describe the sequence of events that may occur if a dentist is found to be 'outlying' in several areas, and the potential consequences if the BSA is continually dissatisfied with the dentist's explanations for this - Analyse a set of NHS BSA data and evaluate and draw insight into the potential integrity and honesty of the dentist's claims |
