SubjectRestorative dentistry
DescriptionColin McQuirk (Restorative Dentist) and Jon Cowie (Endodontist) will be joining forces to discuss the relative merits of posts in modern dentistry. We will be considering the best way to restore compromised teeth, and the most appropriate type of post in different clinical situations. Amongst other things, we will cover assessment of the non-vital tooth, the importance of ferrule and how to approach the placement of posts in the clinical setting. A light buffet will be available for 6.15pm - with a view to starting the talk at 6.45. We plan to finish at 8. 30, to allow time for questions and discussion.
