Aims

The aim of the day is to be better prepared to deal with the non-dental issues which our frail, elderly patients may present with, so that we are better able to meet their needs when delivering appropriate care.

Objectives

1) Be able to recognise/diagnose frailty in people presenting for dental treatment

2) Understand the key relevance of frailty on dental practice

3) Recognise the adverse effects of medications in frail people on both oral health and overall health
