You will be asked to perform various cavity preparations, take impressions etc. This is to get you back into the swing of using dental instruments after your long summer and allows you and us to identify learning needs early on. |

Learning outcomes | By the end of the session, learners should be able to: - Identify 2 or 3 early clinical learning needs to add to their portfolio - Perform basic cavity preparations with accuracy and confidence - Modify their cavity preparations to suit the restorative material they have selected - Take impressions in a patient with a gag reflex with confidence |
