Aims

The aim of this course is to provide a deeper understanding of the causes, intervention options and management of tooth wear.

Objectives

By the end of this webinar delegates should:

1 be able to diagnose tooth wear and understand the intervention options from monitoring and prevention to intervention for both localised and generalised tooth wear.

2 know how to intervene using contemporary materials to replace missing tissue and correct occlusal problems due to tooth surface loss, restoring function and aesthetics while protecting the teeth.

3 be able to maintain worn dentitions by easily refurbishing composite materials as well as having a structured approach to replacing them with indirect materials.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

1 provide education on tooth wear diagnosis and intervention options from monitoring and prevention to intervention.

2 intervene using contemporary material to replace missing tissue and correct occlusal problems due to too surface loss, restoring function and aesthetics while protecting the teeth.
