This session aims to explore health inequalities and identify techniques to effectively reduce inequalities

Learning outcomes

· Explore together what health inequalities are and why they are important

· Identify how social determinants contribute to health and wellbeing (and life)

· Learn about and have a go at using some of the tools that are available to understand health inequalities and their impact

· Think about how our roles fit into a system that is aimed at reducing inequalities yet often perpetuates them

· Explore and practise some of the techniques that can contribute to reducing inequalities
