Description2 day course - Gynaeological Surgical Anatomy, Laparoscopic techniques and procedures. Information about how to apply for this course can be found in the Blackboard Organisation page, under the announcements tab.
Additional information

The course is free for Yorkshire and Humber regional trainees. Priority will be given to regional trainees.

· Please read the dissecting room regulations before attending the course.

· Surgical gowns, over shoes, facemasks and gloves are provided for the lab. If you wish to wear theatre blues please bring your own and return to your theatres.

Aims

To understand techniques used in gynaecological minimal access surgery.

Objectives

To understand basics of oopherectomy, salpingectomy, hysterectomy including dealing with complications.

Learning outcomes

Anatomy, instrumentation ( including energy) , entry techniques, suturing, dealing with complications, tips and tricks.
