Description: A one-day course at the University of Leeds, Anatomy department where the trainees will perform surgical procedures on Thiel cadavers with consultant faculty and supervision. This course covers non-mesh continence surgery aligned with the training requirements for the RCOG ATSM and the specialist Urology training programme. It is a ‘hands-on’ cadaveric operative course, with a ratio of 1:2 per cadaver, and is aimed at Senior Trainees in both Urology and Urogynaecology in the Yorkshire & Humber region. Programme Includes: Colposuspension; Autologous Fascial Slings; Urethral Bulking Agents; Sacrospinous Fixation, Intravesical Botox The course will include a mixture of theory and practical sessions.
