SubjectATLS Reverification
DescriptionATLS student status lapses after four years, and it is recommended that this be renewed within six months of the date of expiry. The ATLS Reverification course is aimed at doctors who have been involved in trauma care since completing their provider course and who wish to be updated on developments in major trauma management.
Additional information

To be eligible to attend the ATLS Reverification course you must have successfully completed an ATLS provider course within the last four years and regularly manage severely injured trauma patients.

Aims

The ATLS reverification course is a one day course with the aim to deliver an effective and systematic approach to the management of trauma patients combining interactive tutorials, discussions,skill teaching and simulated patient management scenarios.

Objectives

To deliver a highly interactive course combining interactive tutorials, discussions, skills teaching and simulated patient management scenarios (moulage).

On successful completion of the required elearning and one day face-to-face course you will gain ATLS provider status for four years.
