DescriptionThe ATLSĀ® course was developed by the American College of Surgeons and has now been adopted in over 60 countries worldwide. It is a global course teaching a systematic process of trauma care for patients with life-threatening injuries. The hybrid course offers online modules (approximately 13 hours) and a shorter face-to-face element.

Aims

The Advanced Trauma Life Support Hybrid course is a two day hybrid course with the aim to teach an effective and systematic approach to the management of trauma patients through online modules, skills teaching and simulated patient management scenarios. 

Objectives

To deliver a highly interactive, effective and systematic approach to the management of trauma patients.

This is a recognised ATLS course.  On successful completion of the elearning and two day face-to-face course you will gain ATLS provider status for four years.

Learning outcomes

The format of this hybrid course includes a state of the art and interactive eLearning tool which will enhance your learning experience and reduce the number of days attending the practical sessions from three to two.  This highly interactive course will also include skills teaching and simulated patient management scenarios (moulage).
