Aims | The course will provide basic technical skills for the Core Trainees looking to develop interest in Urology. |
Objectives | At the end of the course, the participants will be able to perform circumcision, scrotal exploration, cystoscopy and stenting, suprapubic catheterisation They will have a better understanding of selection of appropriate adjuncts to each procedure. |
Learning outcomes | On completion of this course participants will be able to: • Describe and choose the appropriate equipment and technique. • Discuss patient selection, information and preparation for each. • Describe the risks, results and complications. • Demonstrate safe and effective basic technique for the above procedures. |
