This course will help you understand what frailty is, how that means we might need to change our approach to care and the valuable role of high quality nursing care in Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment.

You will also learn how to recognise and prevent delirium, how best to care for someone with dementia and how to prevent deconditioning. You will learn how to recognise acute illness in older people with frailty and the valuable role of nurses in treating older people and maintaining their abilities
