Description | This is the one-day RCS Edinburgh accredited "Masterclass in Non-Technical Skills for Surgeons", which provides a broad knowledge and practical experience of the cognitive and social skills which underpin good surgical practice and safer patient care. Using lectures, small group discussions and video assessments the course explores the framework, theory and research underpinning NOTSS and adverse events in surgery and looks at how this can be used to improve surgical performance and patient outcomes. It is suitable for senior trainee and consultant surgeons from all surgical specialities and especially those with an interest in human factors or surgical education. |
