EM Skills (13th April)

Dear Trainees,

We have organised Clinical Skills days for you to practice what is required for ARCPs and day-to-day work

These have been split based on your grade. There will be AM + PM sessions to choose from. You only need to book on one of the days either an AM or PM session.

April Dates For ACCS Trainees (ST3s will get priority first and then we will work our way down the grades)

Skills include:

Pleural Aspiration of Air

Chest Drain - Seldinger + Open Technique)

IO + femoral vein access

External pacing

DC Cardioversion

Lumbar Puncture

Mandatory: CT3
