DescriptionManagers often face having to instigate difficult conversations which they feel ill-equipped to handle. Discuss strategies of how to be assertive and improve your confidence in managing conflict.
Additional information

It is important to understand your own personality type a short questionnaire should be completed before the event. Both pages of the questionnaire will be emailed to you a week before the session. Please complete and bring with you on the day.

Registration begins at 12pm

A selection of vegetarian/non vegetarian options will be made available, however please be aware that we are unable to cater for special dietary requirements such as Gluten Free, Nut Allergy, Vegan. We therefore suggest that delegates bring their own food if you have a specialist requirement.

To enable delegates to communicate and resolve conflict more effectively.To increase delegates awareness of their individual Personality Types and its effect in the Workplace.

Objectives
  • Discuss the value of Assertiveness
  • Develop interpersonal skills and recognise appropriate boundaries
  • Explore how various strategies that can aid in conflict resolution
  • Establish individual Personality Type using the Keirsey Temperament Sorter
  • Demonstrate differences between the 4 main types
  • Recognise how your innate type affects communication with both patients and colleagues
