Aims

To improve awareness of infection prevention and reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in the primary dental care setting.

Objectives
  •  Explain how infections can spread (chain of infection)
  •  Describe infection prevention and control measures that should be in place in primary dental care
  •  Recognise different types of PPE and when these are used
  •  Demonstrate correct use and disposal of PPE including how to don and doff
