This course is subsidised by Health Education England. The subsidised fee is £85.00 for Dentists. This fee includes the practical sessions and consumables, a sandwich lunch and refreshments.

Places on this course are limited to 30 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The course closing date is 7th January 2019.

Aims
  • The course will give an understanding of the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN) in both its dental health and aesthetic components.
  • It will provide practitioners with the skills to assess their patients' orthodontic needs with regard to appropriate referral for diagnosis, treatment and specialist opinions.
  • It will also include a practical hands-on element to allow delegates to practice their IOTN skills
Learning outcomes

By the end of the event, delegates will be able to:

  • Undertake an IOTN assessment on patients using DHC and AC
  • Explain the use of IOTN to patients
  • Justify referral need to patients based on IOTN outcome
