  • To be able to list the problems experienced by autistic children in relation to oral care and dental treatment
  •  To be able to identify different communication styles which can be used with autistic children

 

Dementia, a patient and carers perspective:

  •  Greater understanding of the experience of accessing dental services when living with dementia
  •  Awareness of sources of guidance, particularly sources developed by people living with dementia including Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project (DEEP) guides
  • Opportunity to relate the challenges for those living with dementia to the patient experience within their own practice
