 Raj's post-graduate training in the United Kingdom has provided extensive exposure in the field of oral surgery, and he was awarded the membership from the Royal College of Surgeon’s England and successfully attained Fellowship from the Royal College of surgeon’s Ireland in oral surgery with oral medicine, confirming his academic knowledge and experience in the field. He endeavours to give his best input to deliver precise and informative lectures in order to reach individuals with varied levels of exposure in the field of oral surgery. Due to his academic interest and passion towards teaching, this opportunity and responsibility has given him encouragement to update his knowledge regularly. He has also attended relevant courses in teaching and mentoring to improvise his teaching skills.

Objectives

To provide informative lecture for effective nursing in minor oral surgery for

Dental nurses, including care planning, instrument, and surgery set-up.

To discuss the rationale behind peri-operative and post-operative care for patients

undergoing oral surgical procedures.

To discuss basic understanding of oral anatomy and get familiar with surgical instruments

and its purpose to play an integral part of the surgical procedure.
