We are developing this opportunity for delivery of oral Health and prevention for these patients alongside gaining experience for our DFT FDs & DTFTs working in this type of multi professional practice with patients who are marginalised. | ||

| Aims | Summary Details x2 FDs, JDFCT1&2 or DTFTs will provide screening and preventive advice (brushing and diet) at the drop-in session. Your screening provides the opportunity to signpost into primary or secondary care based a simple risk assessment. The patients will be offered toothpaste, toothbrush and given the opportunity to have preventive fluoride varnish applied. Please take your own Fluoride varnish and applicators from your Training practice If you have you own preferred Nitrile Gloves, then we advise you take them. You will work alongside the Bevan team as part of this multi professional approach. Please attend in a professional manner, take your scrubs as it is a clinical environment and really make the most of the session. This is an exciting opportunity for us to partner with Bevan Healthcare and the communities it serves in oral health promotion. Thank you for making yourselves available with this project as part of your DFT training | ||
