Additional information

Priority will be given to dental nurses who are new to Foundation Training.

The session will be held face-to-face in the Leeds/Wakefield area with confirmed venue details provided in early June.

Aims

Facilitate effective working relationships between dental nurse and FD during the foundation training year.

Objectives
  • Examine the foundation year and describe their specific involvement within the scope of practice when supporting FDs
  • Explore the importance of early engagement and discuss key factors
  • Discover how to respond effectively to difficult situations and demonstrate how to provide effective feedback to empower autonomous reflective learning
