Aims

To understand the roles of FD the Deanery in Foundation Training in order that the training year is as productive as possible.

Objectives
  • To have an understanding of the Yorkshire Deanery and the Foundation Training Scheme.
  • To be aware of the Study Day Programme and the requirements for attendance.
  • To have an understanding of the Training contract.
  • To be able to access and use the Max Course system.
  • To be aware of the requirement for satisfactory completion
  • To understand the assessment process and the concept of the Milestones Assessment through peer review.
  • To fully understand the role of the FD in taking the opportunities within Foundation Training in order to have a successful training year.
