Lecturer profile | I qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2009, and have been working in General practice for the last 8 years. My passion for dentistry lies within the field of endodontics, and I have been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontology from the University of Central Lancashire. I am planning to continue my endodontic training, to masters level to attain an MSc in Endodontology. I also work as a part-time clinical teacher in restorative dentistry at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, working closely with undergraduate dental students. I am very pleased to be actively involved in their education, and strive to ensure my students will flourish into competent, confident practitioners. I have been fortunate enough to be able to bring my dental education role into the general practice domain, where I am the educational supervisor for our foundation dentist at our practice. I attained a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Education from Sheffield Hallam University, which has aided me immensely in being able to deliver feedback, assistance and teaching to both my undergraduate and postgraduate students. |
