| Lecturer profile | Rose is a Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry and Specialist at the University of Leeds and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. She is an undergraduate module lead in Paediatric Dentistry and sedation lead for the postgraduate Paediatric Dentistry programme. She provides undergraduate and postgraduate clinical teaching and is actively involved in curriculum development and assessment. Rose is also an examiner for the Tri-Collegiate Membership in Paediatric Dentistry for the Royal Colleges of Surgeons.
Rose qualified from The University of Sheffield in 2003 and became a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry in 2009. Her specialist training included posts in several leading paediatric dentistry centres, including Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, the Edinburgh Dental Institute, and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Prior to her current academic appointment, Rose provided specialist paediatric dental care with Harrogate District Hospital Trust and across North Yorkshire within the Community Dental Service for over 12 years, delivering comprehensive care for children with complex dental and behavioural needs. |
