DescriptionThe School of Dentistry wishes to engage with the local dental community to identify current oral health challenges that if solved would have significant potential for delivering improved oral heath for our patients.

We are planning to run a series of "Big Think Workshops" to listen to what you see as the current oral health challenges in your practice, what you think we should prioritise and how we might work together to take them and improve the oral health of the local population we serve. These meetings serve as the launch of this project

Aims

The aim of our evening is to present some of the research relevant to primary care presently being undertaken at the School of Dentistry and to identify members of the dental team who may wish to become involved in a Dental Research Network

Objectives

By the end of the evening you will:

Have an appreciation of some of the key research being carried out at The School of Dentistry Had the opportunity of expressing your views on current oral health challenges within your practice and guide future research in these areas Taken part in a research project investigating the effect of curing lights Have an understanding of Dental Research Network and how this may relate to your practice.
