To provide practical evidence-based information to assist GDPs in providing high quality cost-effective care for paediatric patients in practice

  • Discuss the management of primary teeth without the need for local anaesthetic
  • Describe cost-effective dental materials available for use in children’s dentistry
  • Provide a hands-on workshop for placement of stainless steel crowns using the Hall technique
  • Provide top tips for administration of local anaesthetic in child patients
  • Provide an update on GDC expectations for provision of care for children in general practice
  • Clarify who and when to refer to secondary care services
  • Encourage participation in paediatric case-based discussions
