Aims

To review the most common dental and oral conditions in childhood and some of the available evidence based techniques used to manage these conditions.

Objectives
  • The dental team will be able to discuss the most common dental and oral problems that may present in primary care.
  • The dentist will understand the benefits of a holistic care (Primary and Secondary managing the patient seamlessly) approach for their paediatric patients; they will understand what is more appropriately referred to secondary care and what may be better managed in practice.
