To build on/consolidate the 5 e-learning courses already studied.
To provide opportunity to meet and discuss issues around supervising trainee dentists with peers
To apply e-learning to ‘real life’ credible scenarios
To develop problem solving skills
To integrate learning and use all frameworks

Objectives

Review the e-learning module material
Workplace Based Assessment scenario viewing
Acknowledge different working styles by questionnaire
Discuss case studies and supporting information
Identification of additional information/evidence and how it could be obtained
Plan and prepare for feedback with trainees with question framing, engagement and target setting/assessment
Evolving judgement on the process i.e. educational or disciplinary and routes to resolution
Produce an effective PDP to address the issues
Practice appraisal skills
