This is session 3 of 4 sessions around essential periodontics.

Each session stands alone or can be used to forma a complete course.  The four dates are:

  • 23 July 2015 - Essential periodontics module 1- assessment and diagnosis
  • 24 July 2015 - Essential periodontics module 2- treatment planning
  • 10 December 2015 - Essential periodontics module 3 - non-surgical management
  • 11 December 2015 - Essential periodontics module 4 - evidence based periodontics

  • To understand the objectives of non-surgical therapy and how this relates to current practice.
  • To understand the indications for, and limitations of, antimicrobial therapy.
  • To understand the aetiology and management of perio-endo lesions.
  • To understand the options for the management of furcation lesions.
