Aims
  • To describe the standard materials used to describe children’s oral health
  • To describe the current commissioning arrangements
Objectives

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Describe the use of epidemiological data to demonstrate the levels of dental disease
  • Describe the use of BSA (NHS Business Services Authority) data to identify levels of uptake of dental disease.
  • Describe the interactions between NHS England and local government and who they interact with in the commissioning of dental services for children.
