To introduce the requirements and format of the NEBDN Certificate in Oral Health Education

Objectives
  • Explain the roles and responsibilities of an Oral Health Educator.
  • Introduce the qualification syllabus and explain the knowledge requirements and the exam format.
  • Describe the practical requirements and clarify the amount of employer support and personal commitment required to enable completion of the qualification.
  • Recognise progression routes following qualification.
