- to discuss DFT Program and Purpose

- introduce the EPDP and its role in Satisfactory Completion of DFT

- to introduce the various work-place assessments ES will be asked to complete over the year

- to explore the principles of feedback and its effect on reflective practice

- to discuss how to identify the struggling trainee and the various support approaches available
