Aims

To update delegates on preventive and restorative paediatric dentistry and to be aware of proper treatment for children in dental emergencies.

Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will know more of routine and emergency treatment for children in dental practice.

The morning session focuses on prevention, restorative dentistry, molar-incisor hypomineralisation and behaviour management.

The afternoon session will cover dental trauma in children with a series of short lectures and small group work. Study models will be incorporated into the afternoon session to improve diagnostic skills and treatment planning. By the end of the course delegates will know more of routine and emergency treatment for children in dental practice. It is hoped that the course will be as enjoyable and interactive as possible.
