Aims

To support the OHC and the dental team in prevention and early diagnosis of head and neck cancer.

Objectives

Describe the epidemiology of head and neck cancer including risk factors.

Explain the role of the dental team in prevention and health promotion adopting the MECC principles.

Understand the importance of early detection and referral and role of the dental team.
