Aims

To update knowledge of Salivary Gland Disease in relation to the Oral Surgery Curriculum

Objectives

Understand the management of benign and malignant salivary neoplasms

Improve knowledge of infections of the salivary glands

Improve knowledge of metabolic and immune related salivary disease

Update knowledge of sialoliths, mucocoeles, ranulas and necrotising sialometaplasia

Learning outcomes

After this course, delegates will be able to investigate, diagnose and manage salivary gland disease appropriately and know what action to take to ensure the patient obtains the correct onward care.
