The aim of this webinar is to enhance clinicians’ knowledge and skills in recognising, diagnosing, and managing periodontal disease in paediatric patients, with a focus on case-based learning to support effective and evidence-based clinical practice.

Objectives

Describe the aetiology, classification, and clinical features of periodontal disease in children and adolescents.
Discuss the role of systemic, genetic, and behavioural factors in the development and progression of paediatric periodontal disease.
Outline preventive, non-surgical, and surgical treatment strategies appropriate to paediatric patients.
