Aims

Delegates will discover how they can learn from adverse events and near misses with examples from both clinical practice and aviation.

Objectives
  • This workshop will give you confidence to work efficiently knowing why adverse events happen and what to do to prevent them.
  • You will be able to identify and act upon potential threats or errors so that they do not escalate to become never events.
  • You will be able to adapt more quickly in situations when things are going wrong and recover them which will allow you to be more confident in your work.
