DescriptionThis interactive 2-day course combines hands-on training with case-based learning to deepen delegates’ knowledge and practical experience in the advanced management of severe and non-responding periodontal disease. It also covers both non-surgical and surgical approaches to the management of gingival recession. Participants will gain skills in the assessment and management of peri-implant health and disease, as well as improved confidence in identifying patients who may benefit from specialist referral. The course also supports effective communication strategies to engage and inform patients about their treatment options.

Aims

To equip dental professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively manage complex periodontal conditions, including severe and non-responding periodontal disease, gingival recession, and peri-implant diseases, through a blend of advanced clinical techniques, hands-on training, and case-based learning.

Objectives

By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

  • Identify clinical cases appropriate for specialist referral and understand when to escalate care.
