Aims

To improve confidence and competence in the hands-on management of TDI in children

Objectives
  • Use of special tests and management of the poor prognosis anterior tooth Splinting of luxated/avulsed teeth
  • Restoration of fractured incisors using cvek pulpotomy technique and composite build up using crown forms
Learning outcomes
  • Undertake a thorough history and examination including appropriate specials tests to arrive at an appropriate diagnosis
  • Apply appropriate medium and long-term management of TDI in order to achieve best possible outcomes
  • Provide appropriate emergency management of the following types of TDI: - Luxation injuries, including avulsion and uncomplicated and complicated crown fractures
