DescriptionThis course will cover the practical and case planning that is involved in tooth-wear cases, using a mixture of practical sessions, tutorials and case based discussions. We have expanded the course to 2 days- this will enable us to look at more complex cases and treatment planning as well as moving beyond composite build ups of just one tooth.

  • Preventative, conservative and active management of toothwear
  • Discuss and treatment plan cases
  • Practical sessions to include anterior composite build ups, crown and onlay preparations

After this course delegates will be able to:

  • Diagnose and understand the causes of toothwear
  • Have practical experience in treating toothwear cases including composite build ups
  • Understand the long term maintenance, stablisation and prognosis of treatment
  • Be more confident in treating these cases in general practice
