PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Due to the amount of home study required by these courses, you can only apply for ONE NEBDN course at any one time.

  2. Please download the attached Supplementary Information Form, complete and return it to us with your cheque payment.

  3. When you have been accepted on the course there will also be a charge of £175 for the NEBDN Examination Fee and £20 for the NEBDN Record of Achievement (which you pay directly to NEBDN).

  4. Full attendance is expected from all those delegates given a place on this course

  5. Dental Nurses must have the support of a Dentist who will act as a mentor throughout this course and qualification

  6. Delegates must be prepared for considerable home study to achieve this qualification

  7. It is encouraged that Dental Nurses participating in this course undertake the examiniation on 12th December 2014 for the NEBDN accredited certificate in orthodontic dental nursing

Aims

Objectives
  • Have in depth understanding of the anatomical structures of the oral cavity and biology of tooth movement
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify classification of malocclusion and understand the aims and limitations of orthodontic treatment
  • Understand and demonstrate effective oral health techniques on patients on the care of orthodontic appliances.
