PM development forum: Sustainable oral healthcare - what is it and what can the dental team do? (DWD05SEP24)

Face to Face peer review session; to share policies and in-practice professional experiences relating to the webinar topic, to facilitate shared learning. Delegates are encouraged to bring any associated practice policies to the peer review session that directly link to the topic.

Identify the environmental impact of oral healthcare & highlight how the end user (profession, patient & consumer) can positively affect this through collaboration & the pursuit of good oral health

By the end of this presentation, you will have: 1 An increased awareness that oral healthcare has a significant environmental impact. 2 An understanding of practical steps to engage in environmentally sustainable oral healthcare provision. 3 An example of the impact that good oral healthcare can have on the lifetime carbon footprint of a dental patient’s care. 4 Ideas of what the dental team can do.
